NOFX brought the curtain down on four decades of punk mayhem this weekend, as they played their final shows at Berth 46 in Los Angeles. Changing setlist for each gig, California's pharaohs of punk took a varied, often fast and usually silly journey through their massive catalogue, accompanied by a crew of mates including Rancid's Tim Armstrong, Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz and Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett. As they finished up on Sunday night (October 6), it ended in typically chaotic fashion, doing The Decline with a host of guests, with Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge smashing the band's instruments. Frontman Fat Mike recently insisted that this would be it for NOFX, with no future reunions ever to happen. A promise such behaviour will help to keep... Before that smashey ending, they turned up to suck live one final time...

Green Day: Bullet in a Bible

Bullet in a Bible documents one of the two biggest shows that Green Day have performed in their career. They played in front of a crowd of over 130,000 people at the Milton Keynes National Bowl in United Kingdom on June 18–19, 2005. The band was supported by Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, and Hard-Fi during their American Idiot world tour. Fourteen of the twenty songs performed at these shows were included on the disc; missing out "Jaded", "Knowledge", "She", "Maria", "Homecoming" and "We Are The Champions". Bullet in a Bible was released as a double-LP set on November 10, 2009, as part of the band's 2009 vinyl re-release campaign.

Including historical footage of some of the residents and regulars who made the glorious Chelsea Hotel so legendary.

When household tensions and a sense of worthlessness overcome Evan, he finds escape when he clings with the orphans of a throw-away society. The runaways hold on to each other like a family until a tragedy tears them apart.

Rude Boy

Rude Boy is a semi-documentary, part character study, part 'rockumentary', featuring a British punk band, The Clash. The script includes the story of a fictional fan juxtposed with actual public events of the day, including political demonstrations and Clash concerts.

This Is Canoas Not POA

Canoas is considered by many, especially by those who are not from there, as a commuter town. Cities from metropolitan areas are usually labeled like this because of the workforce that commutes out everyday to work in the capital. In this daily movement, many times, ideas are conceived and creativity flourishes. I believe that this is one of the reasons why those cities often have a lively cultural scene. The documentary "This is Canoas not POA" makes this very clear: Canoas has a lot to show in terms of a music scene that's independent, diverse, creative, and most important, united. Bands, night clubs, studios, producers, record shops. Everything a music scene needs to develop is very well documented here. Watch it and create your own scene, start your own band!

Salda badago, los inicios del rock vasco

A documentary about Basque Radical Rock. Its name comes from a song by the well-known and successful band Hertzainak, which is also referenced in the documentary, along with the work of other rock bands and singer-songwriters. The documentary features interviews with musicians who played rock from mid-1975 to 1990. There are 23 interviews in total, with musicians from bands such as Barricada, Hertzainak, Itoiz, Zarama... In addition, the documentary includes spectacular images from that period, as the rock boom was linked to different movements in the Basque Country: gaztetxes (youth clubs), free radio stations, and fanzines. The documentary is a portrait of the youth who had just emerged from the dictatorship.

There Is No Authority But Yourself

A Dutch documentary about the history of the anarchist punk band Crass. The film features archival footage of the band, and interviews with former members Steve Ignorant, Penny Rimbaud and Gee Vaucher.

AFI: I Heard a Voice

I Heard a Voice is the first live DVD from AFI that was released on December 12, 2006. The concert was filmed at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California on Friday, September 15, 2006. Part of the Decemberunderground Tour, the crowd was the largest AFI had ever headlined with over 13,000 people in attendance. The title of this DVD is lifted from a line of poetry in the decemberunderground CD booklet. Underneath the song 37mm, it says: "The power went out. I turned on the radio. The power went out. I turned on the radio. The power went out. I turned on the radio....I heard a voice." The moth on the case is also from the decemberunderground booklet.
