Etheria

Etheria is a Filipino fantasy television series that was produced by GMA Network. The full title of the series is Etheria: Ang Ikalimang Kaharian ng Encantadia, referring to Encantadia, its predecessor series. Etheria ran for 50 episodes from December 12, 2005 to February 17, 2006, and then gave way to the telefantasya franchise's next incarnation Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas, which began to air the following February 20. The setting takes place before the events in Encantadia thus it may be considered as a prequel to Encantadia. It is also a sequel, a continuation of the story of the Encantadia series, because the story plot of Etheria starts with the four elemental Sang'gres and Ybarro going back in time when Etheria was in its full glory.

Dyesebel

Dyesebel is a fantasy Philippine drama that aired on GMA Network. It is an adaptation of a famous graphic novel about a mermaid created by Mars Ravelo. The series premiered on April 28, 2008 and was expected to air for 25 weeks or 125 episodes, with Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes in the lead roles, and Joyce E. Bernal at the helm. The series ended on October 17, 2008. It was internationally aired on GMA Pinoy TV, which became a huge success to viewers abroad. Dyesebel is a popular mermaid character created by renowned graphic novelist Mars Ravelo. The story has been adapted into five films and a spin-off, throughout the timeline of 1953 to 1996. Edna Luna, Vilma Santos, Alma Moreno, Alice Dixson, and Charlene Gonzales had all played the lead role in the big screen, and all of them reached greater heights after playing the role. Ara Mina played a cameo role in this character in the television series Darna.

Lobo is Philippine supernatural–fantasy horror TV series produced by ABS-CBN that premiered January 28, 2008 and ran through July 2008. It was top billed by Piolo Pascual with Angel Locsin and was the most expensive teleserye made by ABS-CBN.

Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik

Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik is the second installment of the drama Filipino, Maging Sino Ka Man which started on December 10, 2007. The story begins six months later, after Jackie and Eli's wedding. The characters in the drama, such as Eli, Jackie, JB and Celine return in a story. Actors Christopher de Leon and Chinchin Gutierrez assume their original roles from season one. Meanwhile, Rosanna Roces and Phillip Salvador join the cast. Derek Ramsay, Angelica Panganiban and Toni Gonzaga lend their acting to this year's Star Awards Best Drama series. The series was acclaimed by critics for having veteran actors such as Christopher de Leon, Phillip Salvador, Bembol Roco, and Tommy Abuel, whom all are Lino Brocka-regulars.

May Bukas Pa

Santino, played by Zaijian Jaranilla, is an orphan boy who became a ward of the local parish church shortly after he was born and was thus raised by priests. ABS-CBN presents Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla is a series based on the movies of Ramon Revilla Sr. of the 90's and 00's, which features the Filipino cultural belief in the powers of an agimat or amulet. The milieu of the characters and stories are primarily set in Cavite province where the belief in amulets remains strong to this day. The Agimat series will comprise four titles. Tiagong Akyat is played by Gerald Anderson wherein he has superhuman strength, speed, and the ability to climb high walls through his amulet that makes him invincible. Tonyong Bayawak is played by Coco Martin and has the abilities and characteristics of the bayawak. Elias Paniki is played by Jake Cuenca who will have the quest to kill vampires. Pepeng Agimat is played by Jolo Revilla, who will fulfill the mission of killing of the aswang or a monster. But during Season 2, it is now transform into an afternoon mini-series as part of Haponstatic block. Bianong Bulag is played by Jason Abalos a blind young man gets hold of an amulet that makes him a deadly sharpshooter a special power he uses to help those in need. Kapitan Inggo is played again by Jolo Revilla which has the power to ward off bullets and conquer his enemies.
