Extinct is a British television series that aired on ITV, STV & UTV in 2006. F*** Off, I'm a Hairy Woman was a BBC Three documentary about the body image and contrasting stereotypes surrounding women's Androgenic hair, as part of a series including F*** Off, I'm Fat and F*** Off, I'm Ginger. It first aired on 29 March 2007. It was presented by comedienne Shazia Mirza, and followed her as she grew all her body hair for six months. Her introduction posed the question, "what would it be like if we lived in a world where beautiful women were allowed to be hairy? To find out, I've decided to take the plunge and grow out my body hair. Can I learn to love it, and can I convince the rest of the world to love it too?" After six months, she advertised for other hairy women to put on a catwalk show, wearing lingerie made of body hair designed and made by artist Tracey Moberly. It was repeated on the Really television channel in November 2011.
