The Law Firm

The Law Firm is an hour-long reality television, nontraditional court show series that premiered on NBC on July 28, 2005. In the series, twelve young up-and-coming trial lawyers competed for a grand prize of $250,000. At the end of each show, attorney Roy Black decided which two competitors were the weakest and needed to be dismissed, using the catchphrase "The verdict is in. You're out." The series was cancelled by NBC after two weeks on the air due to weak ratings.

Everyday Justice

Three lawyers with strong and unique characters settle disputes that fall under the jurisdiction of the Small Claims Court. In addition to hearing the cases, the champions of justice give us privileged access to the debates leading up to the verdict. Who will win the case? How much will be paid as compensation? It will be up to the three lawyers to decide... and the production to pay the damages!

Family Law

Lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail Bianchi is struggling to put her career and family back together after hitting rock bottom. As a condition of her probation, Abby is forced to work at her estranged father’s firm, Svensson and Associates, and practice in family law for the first time while forging new relationships with the half-brother and half-sister whom she’s never met. The result is a dysfunctional family law firm operating to help other families with their own dysfunctions.

Courting Alex

Courting Alex is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from January 23, 2006 to March 29, 2006, and was a vehicle for Jenna Elfman of Dharma & Greg fame. Elfman portrays Alex Rose, a successful, single attorney who works with her father Bill at his law firm. Alex struggles with dating while looking for love in a big city. Her father wants her to settle down with her coworker Stephen, a star lawyer at the firm who is smitten with her. She prefers Scott, the tavern owner she meets in the first episode, who her father doesn't approve of. Alex relies on the advice of her assistant Molly and British neighbor Julian. Comedian Wayne Federman has a recurring role as office sycophant, Johnson.

The Guardian

Nick Fallin is a hotshot lawyer working at his father's ultrasuccessful Pittsburgh law firm. Unfortunately, the high life has gotten the best of Nick. Arrested for drug use, he's sentenced to do 1,500 hours of community service, somehow to be squeezed into his 24/7 cutthroat world of mergers, acquisitions and board meetings. Reluctantly, he's now The Guardian - a part-time child advocate at Legal Aid Services, where one case after another is an eye-opening instance of kids caught up in difficult circumstances.

Simmer Down

"Simmer Down" is a TV show where disputes are settled with the help of mediator and host, Yang Guang. He’s great at his job but keeps his own problems at arm’s length. When a lawyer, Liao Wang, shows up claiming his family’s old house on behalf of his long-lost mother, Yang Guang is forced to face the unresolved issues he’s been avoiding for years. To make matters worse, a new host threatens his spot on the show. Can he find a way out of this mess?

The Divide

The Divide is a 2014 legal drama that aired on WE tv. The first season consisted of eight hour-long episodes. It premiered on July 16, 2014. On October 30, 2014, the series was canceled by WE-tv.

Matlock

Matlock is an American television legal drama, starring Andy Griffith in the title role of criminal defense attorney Ben Matlock. The show, produced by The Fred Silverman Company, Dean Hargrove Productions, Viacom Productions and Paramount Television originally aired from September 23, 1986 to May 8, 1992 on NBC; and from November 5, 1992 until May 7, 1995 on ABC. The show's format is similar to that of CBS's Perry Mason, with Matlock identifying the perpetrators and then confronting them in dramatic courtroom scenes. One difference, however, was that whereas Mason usually exculpated his clients at a pretrial hearing, Matlock usually secured an acquittal at trial, from the jury.

The Client

The Client is an American television series that aired on CBS from September 18, 1995 to August 16, 1996. The series was based on the 1994 film The Client, itself adapted from the 1993 John Grisham novel also of the same name.

In Justice

In Justice is an American television legal drama created by Michelle King and Robert King, and stars Kyle MacLachlan as David Swain, a wealthy and successful lawyer who heads a high-profile organization called the National Justice Project in the San Francisco Bay Area, along with his lead investigator, ex–police detective Charles Conti. Members of the National Justice Project work pro-bono to overturn wrongful convictions, liberate the falsely accused and discover the identity of those who are really at fault. The series began airing on Sunday, January 1, 2006 on ABC as a midseason replacement and assumed its regular night and time on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 9 p.m. EST. It was canceled after 13 episodes on March 31, 2006.
